Bronze

Entry-level tier. Access to tipping and basic monetization. 500+ followers. Standard revenue share rates. Basic analytics dashboard.

Silver

Unlocks sponsored content, Creator License (Tier 2 Fan License), enhanced analytics, and priority support. 2,500+ followers. Improved revenue share rates.

Gold

Access to Creator Storefront, premium placement, advanced analytics, and dedicated creator manager. 10,000+ followers. Premium revenue share rates.

Platinum

Full access to Brand Partnership Program, exclusive campaigns, maximum revenue share, custom storefronts, and VIP support. 50,000+ followers.

Tier promotions and demotions take effect on the first day of each calendar month. Creators will be notified of tier changes at least seven (7) days in advance. Demotion does not affect pending payouts from the prior tier period.

3Revenue Streams

3.1 Tipping

All Creator Program members may receive tips from other Fanz® users. Tips are voluntary payments made by users to show appreciation for creator content. Fanz® retains a platform processing fee on each tip transaction. Tip amounts, frequency limits, and processing fees are specified in the Creator Program Dashboard.

3.2 Sponsored Content

Creators at Silver tier and above may publish sponsored content on the Platform. Sponsored content is any post, video, story, or other content for which the creator receives compensation (monetary or in-kind) from a third party. All sponsored content must comply with the Disclosure Requirements in Section 4. Fanz® may match brands with eligible creators through the platform's sponsorship marketplace.

3.3 Creator Storefront

Creators at Gold tier and above gain access to the Creator Storefront feature, which enables the sale of digital and physical goods directly through their Fanz® profile. Storefront items may include digital downloads, exclusive content, merchandise, and other products. All storefront items must comply with Fanz® content policies, applicable consumer protection laws, and the intellectual property provisions in Section 7.

3.4 Brand Partnership Program

The Brand Partnership Program is available exclusively to Platinum tier creators. This program connects top creators with major brand campaigns, exclusive sponsorship deals, and co-branded content opportunities. Brand Partnership deals are negotiated individually and may include fixed fees, performance bonuses, revenue sharing, and equity-like arrangements. Fanz® acts as a facilitator and may retain a commission on Brand Partnership transactions as specified in the individual partnership agreement.

4Disclosure Requirements

Creators must provide clear and conspicuous disclosure of material relationships in all applicable content. Failure to disclose constitutes a violation of these Rules and may result in enforcement action. The following disclosure categories apply:

Sponsored Posts

Content for which the creator receives payment or other compensation from a brand or advertiser must include the "#ad" or "#sponsored" tag using the Fanz® disclosure tool. Disclosure must appear at the beginning of the post caption or as a persistent overlay on video content.

Gifted Products

Content featuring products or services received for free must include "#gifted" or equivalent disclosure. This applies even if no additional payment was received.

Affiliate Links

Posts containing affiliate links or referral codes must include "#affiliate" disclosure. The disclosure must be visible without requiring the user to expand or click through the content.

NIL Deals

Content created as part of a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal must include "#NILdeal" or "#NILpartner" disclosure in addition to any standard sponsorship disclosures. See the Sponsor and NIL Safe Harbor Language for additional requirements.

Self-Promotion

Content promoting the creator's own products, services, courses, or external business ventures must include "#ownbrand" or "#selfpromo" disclosure when the commercial nature is not immediately obvious.

5Payment Terms

Fanz® processes creator payments according to the following terms:

  • Calculation Period: Creator earnings are calculated on a monthly basis, with each calculation period running from the first to the last day of the calendar month.
  • Processing Window: Payments are processed within thirty (30) days following the end of each calculation period. For example, earnings from January will be processed by the end of February.
  • Minimum Payout Threshold: The minimum payout amount is twenty-five U.S. dollars ($25.00). Earnings below this threshold will roll over to the next payment period until the minimum is met.
  • Payment Methods: Creators may select from the following payment methods:
    • ACH direct deposit (U.S. bank accounts)
    • PayPal
    • Fanz® Platform Credits (for use toward merchandise, subscriptions, or other platform purchases)
  • Tax Reporting: Fanz® will issue IRS Form 1099-NEC to U.S.-based creators who earn six hundred dollars ($600) or more in a calendar year. Creators are solely responsible for reporting all earnings and paying applicable taxes. Non-U.S. creators are responsible for compliance with their local tax obligations.

6Prohibited Practices

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate enforcement action, which may include demonetization, account suspension, forfeiture of pending earnings, and permanent ban from the Creator Program:

  • Fake Engagement: Purchasing, soliciting, or using automated tools to artificially inflate followers, likes, comments, shares, or any other engagement metrics.
  • Click Fraud: Generating fraudulent clicks, impressions, or conversions on advertisements, affiliate links, or sponsored content through automated systems, click farms, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
  • Unauthorized IP Use: Using trademarks, copyrighted material, athlete likenesses, or other intellectual property without proper authorization or outside the scope permitted by the applicable Fan License Framework tier.
  • Misleading Claims: Making false, deceptive, or unsubstantiated claims about products, services, investment returns, health benefits, or any other subject in monetized content.
  • Counterfeit Items: Selling, promoting, or facilitating the sale of counterfeit, replica, or unauthorized merchandise through the Creator Storefront or any other platform feature.
  • Money Laundering: Using the Creator Program, tipping system, storefront, or any other monetization feature to launder money, evade taxes, or facilitate any other financial crime.

7IP in Monetized Content

All monetized content that references, incorporates, or is inspired by third-party sports intellectual property must comply with the Fanz® Fan License Framework. Creators earning revenue through any monetization stream are subject to the following requirements:

  • Creators at Bronze tier who reference Sports IP in their content must operate within the Tier 1 (Fan Expression License) restrictions, which prohibit monetization of IP-referencing content.
  • Creators at Silver tier and above who monetize IP-referencing content must comply with Tier 2 (Creator License) requirements, including the prohibition on official logos in monetized content and the attribution requirement.
  • Any commercial use of Sports IP (merchandise, NFTs, branded experiences) requires a Tier 3 (Commercial License) regardless of the creator's tier status in the Creator Program.
  • Creators are solely responsible for obtaining any additional licenses or permissions required by IP holders beyond the scope of the Fan License Framework.

For questions about intellectual property in monetized content, contact creators@fanz.us or review the full Fan License Framework.

8Enforcement and Demonetization

Fanz® enforces these Rules through a graduated enforcement system designed to be fair, transparent, and proportionate:

  • First Violation (Warning): Written notice describing the violation and required corrective action. The creator has seven (7) days to address the issue.
  • Second Violation (Temporary Demonetization): Monetization privileges suspended for thirty (30) days. Pending payouts may be delayed pending review.
  • Third Violation (Tier Demotion): Automatic demotion by one creator tier. Monetization privileges restored at the reduced tier level after a fifteen (15) day review period.
  • Fourth Violation (Program Removal): Permanent removal from the Creator Program. Pending payouts will be processed for legitimately earned revenue, less any clawbacks for fraudulently obtained earnings.

Fanz® reserves the right to bypass the graduated system and take immediate action, including permanent removal, for severe violations such as fraud, illegal activity, or conduct that poses an immediate risk to users or the platform. All enforcement decisions may be appealed within fourteen (14) days by contacting creators@fanz.us.

9Program Modifications

Fanz® reserves the right to modify these Creator Monetization Rules, including revenue share rates, tier requirements, payment terms, and program features, at any time. When making material changes, Fanz® will:

  • Provide a minimum of thirty (30) days advance notice before material changes take effect
  • Notify all active Creator Program members via email and platform notification
  • Publish a summary of changes on the Fanz® Creator Hub
  • Allow creators to withdraw from the program without penalty during the notice period if they do not agree with the changes

Continued participation in the Creator Program after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Non-material changes (such as bug fixes, UI updates, or clarifications) may take effect immediately without advance notice.
